I bought this laptop for a friend,it was his first computer,he's a truck driver and needed a portable.He is very happy with this item and didn't want to pay and arm and a leg for the first one to see if he would like it and really needed it. He seems to need it for driver logging. |

This is a great little laptop! This is my first Acer product and with the low price I wasn't expecting much, but I have been pleasently surprised! This is a very good laptop. Lightweight but feels solid. Good battery life. The monitor is very bright and easy to read. I think it would be more than enough for anyone but a hardcore gamer. So if you are looking for a good general purpose laptop that is moderatly small, lightweight, with good battery life, this laptop is a good choice. |

This is not a gaming machine, but an awesome laptop for the money. Comes with Vista and runs great with that. I am using freeware otherwise - Open Office and AVG free for virus protection, and the machine is lightning fast for browsing the web (even music and video), email and word processing. Integrating it into my AT&T U-verse wireless home network for file sharing and printer sharing was a breeze, even though all my other computers run XP. |
