It will not only allow them to play high-definition content such as Blu-ray movies, it will also provide users the ability to share with family & friends personal creations of data files, presentations, home videos and other image files on DVDs or CDs.
The iHES206 is capable of recording on today’s most popular DVD and CD media in the market, and playback from media such as Blu-ray, DVD, and CD. The drive can read BD-R/RE/ROM discs at 6X and supports writing speeds: DVD±R at 16X, DVD±R DL and DVD+RW at 8X, DVD-RW at 6X and DVD-RAM at 12X.
The iHES206 is equipped with LightScribe technology which allows users to silkscreen any type of artwork right onto the surface of the LightScribe-supported CD or DVD. Users simply burn content data as always onto any LightScribe-compatible media, flip the disc over, reinsert it into the drive and burn a beautiful label based on personal artwork, text or photographs. The new LightScribe software completely eliminates the need for printers, permanent markers or adhesive labels and provides a clean, professional appearance that adds to the final touch of your perfect creation.

Bought this for my new computer build, have had nothing but issues since installing it. It will now not even read a DVD, CD or any other type of disk when placed in it. I'm sending it back! Could just be luck of the drawl?? |

Installed and ran well but the software requires a lot of updating to play Blu-Ray disks. Tech support is the same as everyone else but they do email you back with there best solutionand for me it worked. Blu-Ray is like trying to hit a moving target at best they keep changing the codec encryption so it's hard to keep up. I am not sure it it is worth the trouble. Make sure all your HDCP is in order or Blu-Ray will not run. All the other features work fine on this. |

The drive arrived quicker than I thought it would.
It was extremely easy to install and works like a charm. Much easier to write CD/DVDs than other drives have been. |
