An amazing piece of software. I have not yet begun to scratch the potential it offers. Yes, it will take some time and effort to master it; but then so do other programs - such as those in MS Office. I type well, but so does it. It adapted nicely to my voice.
What I like is that, I can simply turn of my monitor when dictating a letter and just speak my thoughts without looking at mistakes. I can format later. That way |

I waited years for the reviews for the Dragon product to come back favorably...finally Dragon 10 looked like a winner.
What a terrible program! I can type faster than it can...and I'm no typist. Also, it does not recognize multiple links on a web page and gets confused when you try to navigate. I really wanted a program I could use while working out on my elliptical machine, but even the help menus state that there are some commands that are better typed than spoken. I spent hours trying to ''teach'' it to work with my voice.
A colossal waste of time and money for a product I cannot even return at this point.

With limited useage, I see where this can be a useful tool. I'm impatient and want everything to work straight out of the box. That won't happen here. I need to invest more time into learning how this operates, such as inserting actual numbers, not spelled out, ie one, two, etc. I know there is a command to switch, but it currently flip flops back and forth. when entering email addresses, it will insert spaces between words. I am optomistic this will work
as I expected. |
