This review is for an LG GBW-H20L Blu-ray/DVD/CD reader/recorder. This was a great experience right out of the box. Didn't expect it, but the drive came with a SATA data and a LP4 (4-Pole) to SATA power adapter. This is a very reliable and fast drive. Couldn't be happier. New for me was the LightScribe disc labelling capability. Works great... Other folks participating in LightScribe forums complain about the darkness (Contrast) of their labels. Not with mine...
This is a great value drive - would buy another and recommend to a friend in a hearbeat.

The oem software that comes with this drive is awful so marking it down a notch because of it. Doesn't work well at all. Now I am using Win7 rc so that could be part of it but I just could not get it to work properly. D/l'd a trial version of powerdvd ultra and that worked. Haven't burned any blu-ray discs yet but does great on regular dvd blanks. To view blu-ray movies you have to have a complete hdcp compliant chain, drive-os-video card-monitor. I suspected my monitor wasn't so couldn't play blu-ray movies until after I bought a new one which I was planning on doing anyway. Then it worked flawlessly. Very happy with this drive.
