Perfect for talk 'n text
This phone came out of the box and worked perfectly. Add your SIM card and you are up and running. I choose this phone because of the keyboard, and was not disappointed. The bold is still the best keyboard on the market by far. If you like to browse the web, this is not the phone for you, but for text and email, this is a perfect choice.

Meh
Purchased this a while back, have owned one for almost 2 years now. The one I purchased from this website actually had issues within a week of purchasing it. The speakers both for ringing and loud speaker (which are the same) quit functioning. Luckily for me ATT had it covered under insurance and replaced it (with a locked phone) I had that phone for about 6 months before the speaker then went out on it too. Being that I was deployed to Afghanistan (which I still am) I had canceled my contract with ATT and decided that it was time to open the phone up and see what is up. I removed the cover and seperated the gutz from the rest of the phone to find that the speaker is a simple contact plate built into the facing and the contacts were going bad due to the nature of my job. This phone is for show and aweing yourself. Not for constant field work. NOTE: during the time I owned my phone I never broke the screen, submerged it in water, or dented the phone in any way.

I purchased this phone when my contract with AT&T was completed, so I could pick any phone I wanted. I have always heard good things about BlackBerry phones. I expected a lot from a phone that costs this much. I have not been disapointed with my choice at all. It is clean looking and easy to use. Everything is where it belongs. I had a samsung Blackjack. It was a nice phone but the quality and performance of the BlackBerry is in another class. I have kept my same carrier (ATT) but I am receiving calls is areas I could not get them before. The GPS works nicely. It is the first phone I connected to my computer that sinked with Outlook with out any issues. The phone is costly, but worth it. Stephen

This is a really good all around mobile device. It is much more than just a phone so calling it just a cell phone would be innaccurate. A couple of things about the device stand out in my mind. The screen is probabbly the most amazing part of the device. It is rich and vibrant, it blows the I phone away in terms of color depth and clarity. The device speaker actually plays in stereo, again one step above the i phones mono output. The only sore point is that the camera is a bit weak. Although it is a 2mp camera the imagesare ery low quality, and blurry. But its a phone, so you can't expect SLR quality. It owuld have been nice to have bit better picture quality, but that isn't a real drawback for me. Some who like to use their phone as to take picture may find it to be a breaking point. In all i really like this phone, it is a bit pricey, but when you factor in all that you an do with it, the price seems a little less steep, but still steep none the less.
