When purchasing another item the person taking my order asked if I would be interested in the CA software. It was explained to me that it was for five users only. When I got it and loaded it onto my second computer that's when I found out it was only good for 1 year. If I would have been informed that up front I would not have purchased it. Made very little difference to my computer's performance and there is lots of freeware out there. Pass on it if you are asked to purchase it. |

This product is a rental in the sense that you have to pay the full amount every year or else the product becomes unusable. |

I was a dedicated user of Optimize 1.5, and so when their update program suggested I upgrade to 2.0, I did so gladly, and, in retrospect, stupidly. The product did what it was supposed to, indeed better than 1.5, and I was at first pleased. However I did not read the fine print when I upgraded. Optimize 2.0 MUST BE PAID FOR AGAIN EVERY YEAR or it stops working! In other words, you don't buy the program, you rent it! So if you use it for 5 years, it winds up costing you over $150! It is now subscription based, so they say. I think they are thieves, and I will not ever buy a product of any kind from them again. Save your money. |
