Customer Reviews
Died after 4 years
Was fine until it died. Even tried clean install of Windows and was not successful.
fast, fast, fast
I love this. Boot time from logo, bout 15 seconds. speeds up computer usage time up also. would highly recommend getting ssd for a computer.
Fast
This SSD drive is fast, but I have to returned it. It's grinding all the time and loud. Maybe just defected one.
Made an old laptop better than new
I installed this in a Panasonic Workbook to replace the regular 5400 RPM hard drive. It works so much faster than when it was new. I recommend replacing old drives with SSD drives whenever possible. Well worth the money with the time saved. I use this in a repair shop environment and time is money.
Excellent drive for your $
Installed two of these in a RAID 0 array about a year ago. Never any issues. I even updated the onboard drive flash. No problem using the Crucial tool from their site. For all you naysayers... You just don't know how to properly setup an SSD for the long term... tip: don't format for their max capacity. The unformatted space will be used internally to replace bad sectors. Add to that properly configuring your OS for an SSD... and for your sake make sure that and your hardware support TRIM and your set. Awesome drive and super fast in an array :)
