Does what it said it would. Ran right out of the box once I figured out the proper slave/master/cable select switch setting. A little noisy, but hey it works and the price was right. |

This BLOWS!! Came stuffed with bubble wrap and the burner was at the bottom of the box. Made lots of noise, like a gear was loose. Reads some DVDs and not others. May or may not burn, saying theres some type of error. Tried different burner software but theres always a glitch with this burner. A different burner in the SAME computer works flawlessly. If you buy this, Ill come to your house and rip it out of your computer. |

Order this drive, they substituted a SPD2413P for it, which is a DVD\CD ROM. Was going to reduce my CD collection with the DVD-RW. Guess I'll smash them with the drive. That will work. |

Like a previous review. I received a SPD2413P and it does not burn or read DVD's. So obviously this is more than a shipping fluke. |
