some damage one DOA component
tower was damaged. dent in side, faceplate cracked. easily fixed no big deal for what I paid. put together in 20 minutes. Blue screened on startup. RAM module was bad. replaced with a known good module and started right up and has been running stable for over 3 weeks now. Got RMA for bad ram. 450 watt power supply is good enough to run 2HD's 1DVD burner and a GTS250. all 8 usb ports have something plugged in as well and so far no power problems, impressive because I normally run 500 watts or greater. Not the fastest but it can hold its own. its running everything I have thrown at it game wise at decent framerates. I would say performance is approx. high end I3 low to mid range I5. nice rig for under 300 bucks.

Nearly Electrocuted
After assembling this computer correctly, I pressed the power button, and what did I know, an arc of electricity came shooting out of the case, while this was most likely due to a faulty power supply, it shakes my faith a bit with Thermaltake. I must now search for another barebones kit with an acceptable price.

wow, great deal, very fast and extremely quiet
This kit was superb. It is extremely fast and all I did was add another 4 gig of memory. The case could be a little more compact but nothing I could not deal with. Highly pleased with.

Warning: Must be techsavy for this one
The comp took a while to set up and a lot of drivers, make sure you know what your doing and the motherboard doesnot allow ide cd drives. I booted mines from USB and took some time. Regardless when its all said and done I upgrade this piece with a DDR5 card and is competing with my friends i7, however overclocking is not really a big deal, it could make the system unstable. Great buy tho and came in the mail in 2 days. Configuration is nice and neat. I recomend it only for techsavy people.

No atx 4 pin connector from power supply.
There are both 4 pin and 24 pin power connectors on the motherboard.
