Corsair Flash Survivor 4GB USB Flash Drive

I have owned several Flash Drives. The Corsair Survivor not only out performed them all (speed) but it even went through the washer and worked perfectly! The performance is OUTSTANDING and needless to say the reliability far surpasses any ''plastic'' wan-a-be. I am buying the 32GB version!

The best feature is that it has a nice case. The performance is weak. I loaded with info and later got corrupted. Formatted and loaded again and it works so-so. Reliability is poor, I am getting a replacement.

i work for the government and keep very important encrypted files on this drive. unlike civilian life when its nasty weather my job still has to be done. unlike my cell phone that i have to keep in a plastic bag for weather, this drive is ready to go through even the worst of storms. i think the only thing that would hurt this drive is maybe a lightning strike.

I work in an industrial environment and I had been looking for an extreme flash drive. I found it. The case is machined aluminum and within reason indestructable. I doubt that getting run over by a truck would damage this drive. When inside the shell the drive is sealed by an O-ring seal that makes it water proof. Performance wise it has operated flawlessly in any PC it has been used ranging from XP, XP Pro, to Vista. Though I haven't measured transfer rate it is sufficient for my needs. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a very rugged and dependable flash drive. (and it looks way cool)
