I've had these for a few weeks and am very pleased with them. They are far better than the earbuds that came with my mp3 player. They also stay in the ear better and block outside sounds pretty well. Bass extension is a little weak but tight, not boomy. In other words it may not go as low as some but where it does go is done right.

Shure earphones work great in reducing outside noises especially on planes. The memory foam ear pieces are soft and once set in ear stay in place. The sound is crisp and clear. The Shure's also use a heavier gauge wire than similar priced models which should help them last longer.

The Shure SE110 is a good product and a decent value. I'm not a freaky audiophile so I can't speak as to the minute details, but I'm happy overall with the product. I'm just as happy with Skull Candy Earphones - I buy their $20.00 model at F.Y.E. when there is a sale for only $9.99. |

I bought these to replace a set of Sony earplugs that I had.....WOW...what a difference. The sound is great. Not the heaviest on bass, but I don't listen to rap anyway. The openness of the sound and the clarity blew me away. I would heartily recommend these to anyone looking to replace a set of original earbuds, you will be amazed. Would buy them again in a heartbeat. |
