The new Intel Pentium Dual Core is a budget dual-core chip, without sacrificing
speed and quality. Intel's newest addition to the Intel® Pentium® processor

on Intel’s Core microarchitecture (Conroe), the next generation 65 nanometer

This Intel Pentium Dual Core worked fine when I got it. But it kept frezzing up constantly. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Great processor. Came with my barebones. I have it stably overclocked to 2.43 ghz (came 2.0 ghz) on stock cooling. I sure you could go about 3.3 ghz with better cooling. This is one of the best processors IMO for overclocking on a budget. The real icing on the cake is that this is also a dual core.

Does a pretty good job at running high demand programs provided you have the memory for them. Only problem was while developing in Adobe Design Premium CS# i run almost the whole suite at once, the CPU doesn't handle that well. I upgraded to core2Dou and problem solved!

You can't beat it for the price... It came with my cheap Acer... runs well... no problems...yet...

Good chip for the money, overclocks ok and runs cool. You can build a fast inexpensive pc. Hard to beat Tiger service plus good price.
