The product worked great right out of the box. Quiet. Easy Install. The software created a small problem so I am using Nero. Don't know why some ratings were down. The value can't be beat! |

well so far so good, haven't had any issues with it as it should be. got it mainly because it was free and i thought maybe i will make some profit and sell it to a friend for 30$ :D, or maybe i won't and decide to keep it... :P |

Dead on arrival. Did not communicate or operate. Redeeming factor...once I get the rebate I will have lost no money. |

Simple install with good Roxio software. Was fairly quiet. Unit was as solid as most other lower priced burners. Giveaway price with the $30.00 rebate. Plextor accepted my rebate information and informed me very fast via e-mail. (make sure you follow all the instructions for the rebate.) |

It writes and reads very fast, but has very poor construction, I feel like I'm going to break it every time I use the eject button. I would not have purchased it it wasn't free. |
