This was a good deal(if it's still running a year from now).Pentium D performs as expected, quick, but no barn-burner.The case was bent on one corner ,but no damage to the box & foam it was shipped in.Power-Up evidently shipped it that way.Ultra memory good. Sony DVD-RW good.Intel motherboard easy to set up and populate - Hi-Def Audio, On-Board LAN, didn't need video card with Intel On-Board VGA. No case fans & you need two (120mm).Case fan holes in case were drilled too big; use washers. I give it a general 4.5

Please be aware, as I unfortunately was not, that this does not come assembled. I didn't want to dedicate the time or effort necessary to build a machine, else I would have purchased these components seperately for a much better value, and I certainly would have picked components I was familiar with, so, like now, when something wasn't working, I would know whether it was something I could fix, or whether I made a mistake and caused catastrophic damage. Mea culpa, I suppose. I guess guess that's what throwing the word ''kit'' in the description means. I suppose if you're more willing to do the work on the back end in building a PC, rather than on the front end looking for value-priced individual components, and you're familiar with working with Intel products, then I guess this is a right-at-average package for the price. As for me, I'm not at all pleased that I have a $400 doorstop right now.
