Design Meets Technology
Aliph Jawbone Bluetooth Headset with Noise Shield Technology - Silver
Designed by the renowned Yves Behar, Jawbone takes mobile style to new heights. Jawbone's perforated shield curves to match the outline of your face while the inside surface is made from medical grade plastic to provide a soft and smooth feel on the skin. Jawbone can be worn on either ear, and you can customize your fit by choosing an earloop and earbud from the several shapes and sizes provided. Jawbone's ergonomic design enhances acoustic performance and keeps the device lightweight, stable and comfortable.
World's First Adaptive Bluetooth Headset
Jawbone is the world’s first adaptive Bluetooth headset for mobile phones. Its revolutionary Noise Shield technology combines the latest innovations in acoustics, audio processing and product design to produce a quantum leap in headset performance. Not only does the Jawbone technology virtually eliminate all background noise from your call, but as your background changes it also seamlessly
adjusts the speaker output so you can hear your caller’s voice better. Jawbone’s intelligent system of sensors, software, and ergonomic features allows you to use your mobile phone in any environment without shouting or straining to hear.
A Closer Look
Features
- Jawbone Identifies Your Speech: A proprietary voice activity sensor identifies precisely when you are speaking, in any noise environment. Unlike other headsets, Jawbone can easily separate your speech from other sounds nearby.
- Jawbone Eliminates Noise: Jawbone uses highly directional microphones and powerful signal processing algorithms to remove background noise from your outgoing speech signal. This allows you to be heard clearly in any environment without the need to shout and disturb others around you.
- Jawbone Automatically Enhances Incoming Audio: The volume and frequency content of the incoming speech is dynamically adjusted to maximize intelligibility in any noise environment. No matter where you are, Jawbone will adapt to your environment.

Bought the version with an earlier, flimsier ear piece- its held in only by friction and frequently falls out- also, it is so light that it doesn't ''hold'' the unit up against your cheek. Finally, the ''on'' button on the front of the unit usually activates if you put it in your briefcase or pocket, so it discharges without you knowing- Not recommended

Heard that the Jawbone was the best out there, but the only thing good about it was the fact that you can hear quite well, and the people that talk to you don't hear background noise. Other then that the ear pieces kept falling out, I lost one of them because of that, and the part that goes over the ear broke off... Not a very good buy!!!

Adequate in every sense of the word. It's difficult to put in your ear. It's moderately comfortable once in. The sound quality is just okay. People complain when I speak that they can barely hear me and when they do - it echoes. Oh well - it does kinda look cool, which is the only positive thing I can say about it. Bought a Plantronics Voyager 510 and while it doesn't have that ''cool'' factor, it's a lot more comfortable and sounds great.

Sound quality is very good. People hear you loudly and clearly. Very uncomfortable, you have to remove the ear clip and insert another one to switch ear unlike some other devices out there (ex. Plantronics). Very annoying habit of activating voice call feature over and over and over (litterally over and over) even when you don't say a thing.

Was told this was the one everyone was begging for right now. Paired up alright with my Blackberry Pearl, but was extremely uncomfortable, had very poor sound quality, people complained they couldn't hear me, there was an echo. I spent a fortune and now I am looking for another one... sigh.
