Used and DoA!
I purchased a refurbished DLink 323 NAS through this website. I tried setting up my device and noticed that it presented all the symptoms of a bricked or dead on arrival device. (Flashing LED lights, HDD lights, won't reset, won't power off without unplugging, can't connection via Easy Search software or network interface). After inspecting the back of the device closely it appears to have prior use because the fan on the back of the device has dust accumulated on it's blades. I feel as though I just threw away my money on something that seemed like a good deal at the time.

Very good value for low beginner budget NAS system
- Very good price (bought mine refurbished). - Setting this thing up was a PAIN. Very unintuitive. But at least it's running now and I haven't have any problem with it yet. - It does heat up if copying a lot of files; the stock fan does NOT keep up with the cooling. I circumvented this by plugging in a laptop cooler to the USB slot on the device. Keeps it plenty cool and only runs when the device is on.

Excellent NAS starter
First one was DOA; replacement was prompt, and works like a charm. Ability to add a networked printer is a real plus for a home network.
