Great Laptop
When this was available it was the cheapest laptop you could find with 2 discrete graphics cards. It runs lots of games like a champ, the graphics are great. The only cons I can think of: no installation or drivers discs provided, battery life is really low, didn't come with bluetooth. But all of those are pretty minor for the value and graphical power you are getting.

Awesome budget gaming machine
I can play Civilization V and Diablo 3 on it. I didn't have to replace the harddrive but there was an automatic update from Acer that dealt with the harddrive slowness, so probably it helped. Diablo 3 runs in native resolution with high quality textures and AA enabled and gets 50+ FPS. Overall I'm very happy with it. It does blow hot air from the left side but does not get very hot.

Best bang for the buck
I needed a new laptop to replace my older acer until I can afford to build my own computer so I picked this one. For $450 you get one heck of a great machine. Worked right out of the box, very little in terms of included annoying software, and boy does it work. With the graphics card it sells with I am able to run games like Diablo 3 without a problem, which was a nice surprise. The only issue as others have put it is the lack of a backup disc, but I will be making one myself shortly anyway, and it comes with a program to do it, so it's not a big deal. While not the best machine money can buy it is probably far and away the best $450 can buy. If you need a new laptop for general use don't miss out on this one.
