DVD burner was a easy install, XP regonized the drive and I did not need to look for any drivers. So far, I havn't had a problem. Nice bundle for the price (although looks as if it's now $44.00 instead of the $29.99 that I paid for it a few days ago)...

Excellent DL burner, I've used to burn to verbatim DL and memorex DL, also compatible with booktypes, 1 problem, don't burn DL at 2x or 2.4x. Burn at 4x as you get a better quality burn. Used to make backups for 360 as well, great deal for the money.
A DVD-R and
DVD+R share similarities in that they are both write-once formats, they
both have single-sided capacities of 4.7GB, they both need finalization
after recording for broad playback, and both can be used for either data
storage or video applications. The major difference is that they are not
interchangeable when it comes to recording. Because each format writes information
to its corresponding disc differently, DVD+R discs must be recorded by
a +R drive or video recorder, and DVD-R discs must be recorded by a -R drive
or video recorder. Once recorded, they share similar playback compatibility.
