Customer Reviews
This power supply is quite strong, has adjustable voltage and the special small size that fits all micro atx cases.
The fan works well for reliability; however there is some sound (not loud) because it is able to ventilate micro cases well.
So, if your case is already well ventilated, you could easily put the fan to a controller or Zalman's nifty resistors and quieters for a very nice experience.
The 300 watts are true; however, a strong system plus Gamer Video Cards could blow it unless you keep it cool. For the power hungry computers, it is highly recommended to flip the fan over (authentic ATX specs), pulling fresh cool air INTO the power supply from outside the computer. It tests out at 251 watts (Celeron) on case air or 367 watts (Conroe) on fresh air.
I've still got to give this a five star rating as a nifty, strong power supply that makes a good show in the majority of micro atx cases, doing a fine job every time.
So far I have deployed three of these power supplies and am very impressed. The build quality is exceptional, the unit is actually heavier than a 'standard' ATX power supply. Could this be the elusive, reliable M-ATX power supply?
