In July of 2007 I removed the Vista OS from a Dell E520 and replaced it with Windows XP. One of the components I installed was this PCMCIA adapter so that I can use a Sierra Aircard both on my laptop and desktop. In January I upgraded to a Novatek U727 USB Aircard and removed the PCMCIA adapter but for the months I used it, it's operation was flawless! |

I agree also. Got this cause 2 video cards take up 4 slots which doesn't leave much room for other things, so with this I can swap out cards with my laptop. Yeah, 2 slots would be heaven but it's better than nothing. |

great card, allowed me to use the pcmcia wireless card that came with the wireless adaptor (my laptop has the card built in) in my desktop. great b/c I'll also be able to use my other pcmcia stuff (cd drive, firewire) now on my desktop w/o having to buy new ones |

I bought the adpater for my Cingular Air Card. Works great! I agree with the other guy would have been nice if it had two slots. |
