Digital Photo Frames

A digital picture frame is a picture or photo frame that displays digital photos without the need to have a processed photo, print them on your computer printer, or be connected to a computer. Many digital photo frames can also display the photos on a TV. Some digital photo frames can only display JPEG pictures, however many digital picture frames can display JPG AVI and even MP3 - supporting multimedia content, including movie clips such as MPEG video files and/or MP3 audio. Most digital photo frames display the photos as a slideshow and usually with an adjustable time interval. Some can also send photos to a computer printer. Certain frames can also load pictures over the Internet from RSS feeds, photo sharing sites such as Flickr, Picasa and from e-mail. Such networked models usually support wireless (802.11) connections. Some can display text files as well.

Typical digital frames are 7 to 10 inches, but some models may be larger in size. But there are also many that can hang on your keyring! Digital frames typically display the pictures directly from a camera’s memory card, though certain frames also provide internal memory storage. Certain frames allow users to directly upload pictures to the frame’s memory via a USB connection. Some of them also include rechargeable batteries.
