Factory Recertified
A product is considered "Factory Recertified" if it is shipped to a customer, by the manufacturer, and is not accepted by the customer. The shipment may have been made in error, or the customer decides not to complete the transaction. The merchandise is returned to the manufacturer, unused. However it may not be resold as "new." The manufacturer inspects and tests the merchandise for damage, missing parts, etc . The manufacturer then offers the merchandise for sale as "recertified."
