We ordered the 5V Digicom Power Pack for our Toshiba PDR-M25 digital camera last fall (2002, and have used it for just over a year.
The power pack greatly increased the efficiency of camera use, since we could only get about 10-15 pictures before the batteries ran down. However, after about 8 months usage, the battery pack itself seemed to run down more and more quickly. It finally reached the point where only 2 or 3 pictures can be taken before the power is gone. The power pack will not even power up enough to use the camera at all. We have had it a total of about 15 months.
Our usage of the camera has been usually once or twice per week, anywhere from 1/2 hour to 3 hours of action in a day's time. We are now looking at purchasing another one. |
