No more traditional HDD
Great low cost SSD, at this price all PC should be using one. Makes Windows much faster for everything.
Great product
I ordered 2 to try out as OS drives for my workstations. Win 7 and programs load much faster. I ordered 6 more for the rest of the workstations and server.
Included cloning software worked seamlessly (except on the server). Life is yet to be seen.
Great SSD on a budget
Using it to boot the Win7 operating system with general storage on a separate conventional HDD.
MX100's - great ssd's for the price!
I have a behemoth of a new build with 3 MX100 ssd's and one PNY ssd. The PNY boots windows 7 and one of the MX100's boots linux mint for web development. I have a similar dual boot setup using HDD's on a laptop, and they both take about the same time to load and reach the internet.
In my desktop, the MX100 running Mint boots several seconds faster than the PNY running Windows 7. While Windows 7 64bit is a bit heavier than Linux Mint, Mint isn't the most lightweight Linux distro either, and the MX100 boots and connects to the internet in a FRACTION of the time it takes for the windows 7 PNY ssd.
These are some of the most reliable, efficient SSD's in the price range.
Solid state drive
An excellent product. Put is in a notebook computer. A vast improvement in any program using the disk drive.
