Excellent product, perfect sound quality, even sounds superior to the original AC' 97 integrated audio that was already in my laptop. I ordered this when the original output jack in my laptop broke, makes a great sound replacement, and works almost instantly in Windows XP, Server2003, and Ubuntu Linux 6.10 I have tested this in. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a fast, good quality, low cost sound replacement. |

I am a radio ham and my soundcard is used as a modem for digital communications. But I like to listen to Internet Radio. Each time I had to unplug the ham radio and plug-in the speaker. That got old very quickly.
I bought this in hopes of having a 2nd soundcard for the Internet Radio. Well, I plugged it into the USB port and it fired right up. I did use the install disk as it had some extras.
How does it work? Great! I plugged my speakers into it and out comes music!
My internal soundcard works just like before and I can run both at the sametime.
One one thing, this usb soundcard as only a output jack. There is no line-in or mike-in. There are other usb sound cards that support both.

I'm a pastor, and we use a computer to play videos and sometimes music in our services. This controller cut out all the computer noise that was coming through. It works so well, I'm buying another. |
