TV came 1/21 and stand 1/23 so it's now up and running fine. Yellow brought it on a truck with a lift gate and the driver helped me carry it into the house. It's a two person lift due to the bulk even if you can lift 200 pounds. Easy to set-up and nice big screen. Everyone that viewed it said it was great. Don't have HD satelite but the DVD play was terrific. Another great Tiger buy. I must have bought the last one. |

I purchased this television and it arrived about a week ago. The first thing that I noticed was the weight, it is heavier than most tv's I have dealt with. With the stand it weighs approximately 180 pounds. Once the stand is removed it is closer to 140 pounds, a pretty big difference. I mounted the television on my brick fireplace with no trouble at all.
The picture quality is very nice, especially for the price. I'm sure if I wanted to pay an additional $2,000 the picture would be a little better but it couldn't be much better. The sound quality is a little dissapointing but I'm using a surround system to the tv sound really isn't important to me. The menu is a little annoying but it works so no real complaints.
Overall I believe this television is a great value. I was very pleasantly suprised and I would have no problem recomending this television to anyone. |

I purchased one of these. It arrived at my house and the trucker didn't offer any assistance with removing it from his truck, due to it's 220 lb weight and no lift gate service. We managed to remove it by hand and got it in the house. I turned it ON and as always did a thorough pixel check. Found no less than 10 pixels that were either stuck ON a certain colour or would not turn ON at all and one annoying red one dead centre! Ordered a replacement as this seemed like a DOA to me, but the replacement one had 8 bad pixels and horribly uneven back lighting. Every corner was bright gray on a black background. This unit has a very hard time displaying a descent standard def signal, but makes up for it in the HD department. In my case, overall the price was low, but the performance and quality matched it. I might have been unlucky with these two DOA units. |

First of its 1080p great..but it has 10 ms response time which gives a slight lag when playing fast games...big downfall considering lcd tvs are at 4ms response times..also blacks are very blue, big nono for lcd. Again 10 ms response time very high....Anyone buy a warranty 2 years for the price of one is offered..the price is great for a 55inch lcd but remember u get what u pay for! |

Cleaning Your LCD Monitor or TV
Now that you have your new LCD Monitor or Widescreen TV, it is important to
use the right products to clean it. The wrong cleaner can damage the
surface of your display. However, there are many new cleaning products on the market designed especially for
LCD displays. We recommend using a soft, lint-free cloth and a special LCD
cleaner. (You can also use a cleaner that
contains any of the following: Water, Vinegar (mixed with water), or Isopropyl alcohol). BUT Do Not Use cleaners that contain any of the following agents: Acetone, Ethyl alcohol, Ethyl acid, Ammonia, Methyl chloride!
Important:
Do not spray any liquids directly on the LCD screen. Always apply the
solution to your cloth first, not directly to the parts you are cleaning.
Always use a soft cotton cloth. Some materials, such as paper towels or old
rags can cause scratches and damage the LCD screen.
