Overall this was a fantastic purchase, I really couldn't be happier. One common theme among all the other reviews is that it's hard to set up. When I bought it, I was thinking that, as someone who has set up hundreds of odd gadgets over the years, it wouldn't be as hard as people were saying. Well, no, it's actually got one of the strangest ways of setting things up that I've ever seen. Still, it took maybe an hour and it wasn't a big deal. The performance of this unit is excellent. The number of ports is fantastic, too. I just wish it had more presets on the remote.

First off, I ordered online on 7/7 late at night and it was at my door the morning of the 10th. Just in time for the weekend. Awsome. Now, the word refurbished would normally cause me to go right on by, but the name Denon, along with $129.00, made me stop and read. I liked what I read and even the reviews were pretty good. So I bought it. The unit worked right out of the box and sounds great. It's been a week now and everything is going great. I find I am still playing with the setup,but the controls have become more familiar to me and are getting easier to get around. The back cover on the remote is still uncomfortable to me but I'll get it one day. So far my only complaint is the markings on the remote, very small and tough to see. I need to turn on a light at night to get the right ones. The glow in the dark around the buttons is pretty cool though. Great sound, great shipping, great price. Could not ask for more. A Denon, wonderful.

When I got this thing the little power jumper to the DSP needed replacing. I didn't know what was wrong with it the time, all I knew was I was hearing loud crackling from the speakers. I called Denon and they told me to get it repaired at my local shop. I took it in the next morning and it was fixed within 3 hours. I picked it up that afternoon. That was about 2 weeks ago and its been working perfectly ever since! Sweet!
