Vantec Iceberq Copper VGA and Chipset Fan
Most recent video cards come with a heatsink, a fan, or a combination of both already attached to the main chip. However, these units are usually there for nothing more than aesthetics, offering little functionality. That's why Vantec offers the Iceberq all-in-one VGA and chipset cooling kit. With a powerful 5000RPM fan and a copper heatsink, the Iceberq quickly dissipates heat from the VGA chip, extending the life of your video card. The included heatsinks can be utilized on supplementary chips on the video card or chipsets on the motherboard, adding to the versatility of the Iceberq.

Worked for me
I didnt really use the whole kit. I searched for days for a replacement fan with these dimensions and couldnt find one, so I bought this kit and ditched the sink just to get the fan. It worked great.

I guess it works
Motherboard is an ASUS A8N-E. The fan mounting holes are to wide. Solution was to elongate the holes with a small round file and clip the tabs to shorten them so the fan will mount clear of other components. I noticed that some of the other reviews report temperatures lower. I don't know how they are measuring this because mine has no thermal connection. It reports to the MB only that it is to slow. It is noisier than the original before the bearing failed, but only annoying in a quiet room. Ratings: Value, is based on vs replacing the MB. Features, It's a fan with only 2 wires. even though the picture shows 3. Quality and Performance. No real data on which to base an analysis.

Fixed the noise but it didnt cool much
Another customer complained about it being noisy. This is because the front housing of it can touch the fan if you push to hard to make it stick to the chipset. I just took a knife and bent the front of it out some because the fan blades rub on the copper front. Now, after I replaced my heatsink on my gigabyte fx990-ud3 with this, the pc started freezing after it started up and sit for about 4 minutes. Even faster if I tried to do somthing like watch a movie. And the fans holes didnt match the holes that were on my board from the heat sink so I could only use one hole but the thermal tape held it in place. After taking it off and putting the original heatsink back on. I let it run all nite and looked at it the next morning and no freeze up. I think its because this fan doesnt actually blow air, it pulls air in to cool the copper back of the fan that touches the chipset. but I dont think thats enough.
