Big Savings! Vantec Iceberq Copper VGA and Chipset Fan
Most recent video cards come with a heatsink, a fan, or a combination of both already attached to the main chip. However, these units are usually there for nothing more than aesthetics, offering little functionality. That's why Vantec offers the Iceberq all-in-one VGA and chipset cooling kit. With a powerful 5000RPM fan and a copper heatsink, the Iceberq quickly dissipates heat from the VGA chip, extending the life of your video card. The included heatsinks can be utilized on supplementary chips on the video card or chipsets on the motherboard, adding to the versatility of the Iceberq.

I got this item to replace a heatsink on a cheap video card. So far it works, I would rather the heat get removed from the card as quickly as possible.
Good value as a replacement part

I bought this to replace the failing OEM heatsink and fan on a PNY GeForce 9400GT. It was a perfect fit, easy to install (about 10 mins total), came with everything I needed (and more), and it even cools the GPU slightly better than the unit it replaced ...by about 5 degrees C at idle. The overall quality seems a little better than the OEM unit as well. If you just need to replace an underperforming or broken OEM cooler, this might be a good choice if it fits your card. I am 100% satisfied so far.
it works but it is not for overclocking

This is more for replacing your current fan (if its broken) if anything... Sure it comes with a few accessories and some vanteq thermal paste but overall it is nothing too too special. Not to mention that this fan cannot mount to an 8500GT (sockets are in the wrong spots) and since an 8500GT is the only card famous for dying fans I don't see the point in buying this... not worth it in my opinion (cuz the bigger cards always have much better cooling solutions on them than what this would provide anyways) :P
Good Fan doesn't fit Asus A8N without modification

Very good quality. Nice heavy piece of copper. This will not fit the Asus A8N motherboard without modification. I had to use a file and shave some off the "ears" to keep it from hitting a capacitor on one side and a coil on the other. I have the regular A8N-SLI not the "deluxe" version. It has been installed now for almost a month with no issues. The install was very easy and simple once the shaving was done. Took about 15 minutes total.

Even though I read some reviews of people having installation problems for the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe board in replacing their noisy chipset fan, I decided to go with it. After looking at the set-up, I decided it was worth loosening & raising my XFX GeForce 9600 GT Alpha Dog Edition Video Card to install the cooler. I used the OCZ FreeZe and installed it by doing the lower left pin first, then line up the second one with a slight push and wahla.......DONE! What a improvement, much better!
The only complaint is that I wish it had a 3 wire plug so I could tell how fast the fan is running. I would definitely buy this again and/or recommend it.
