Very cool toy
I like it and it does what it says. Well worth the price the only very minor issue is it is a bit awkward to navigate through the features. Accepts a micro card from my phone and found songs to play - pretty fun.

Dollar store item. Very disappointed
Got this for FM radio feature which works fine but the speakers are loose, poor quality buttons, casing, finish.. Save your $$ cus it cost you to ship and return so you will be out over $14.00 no matter what. I used to trust the reviews but I don't know what product these reviewers are rating as 5 stars.

Loud, undistorted, versatile, and a bargain!
The sound from this unit is unusually clear and free of distortion for such a small device. It records from FM with the ability to do so on a scheduled basis. I really love this unit, so I'll focus on tips. None are intended to be negative. 1. Don't plug in the line in cable as an antenna before you have selected FM from the menu. 2. It also records from its microphone. The quality of voice recording is marginal unless you carefully drill a hole in the case just above the mike, then it is excellent. Remove the left speaker (two screws underneath) to see where to drill. 3. The mini USB connector is only for power and charging. To access the unit as an external drive, you must connect a USB A to USB A cable between the computer and the full size USB socket. 4) Be patient when you change functions, volume, or directories. The processor is a little slow, but that is one of the reasons the battery life is so great.

Great for my mobile business
While they are not a boom box, they are plenty loud for my mobile shop. I use them with my mp3 player and my laptop (as they sound better than the laptop speakers). It's nice to have speakers that don't run out of juice in a few hours. I can use them on a charge for several days. I have not tried out the recorder, alarm, or FM radio.
