A USB port on the front panel of the Yamaha YHT-595BL Home Theater System provides convenient connection for your iPod®/iPhone®, which also charges when connected. Because the digital signal from the iPod®/iPhone® is transmitted directly to the AV Receiver, noise interference is minimized and sound quality is much better.

Very Happy with purchase
I was looking to spend around 500 bucks on a surround sound system. Got this for 499. My subwoofer blew on my last system and I wanted to upgrade to system with hdmi. This system was very easy to get setup. Love the onscreen menu! Went with this system over 395 or 495 models due to setup microphone and better speaker quality. Speakers are great, made of wood, sound is super clear and microphone works great. love the different settings. Great buy. all the features I wanted. couldn't be happier.
