Works as advertised!
Out of the box, worked as advertised! After charging for 30 minutes, linked to my computer, entered component data and downloaded it to the remote couldn't have been easier. The unit is balanced, easy to read and the buttons are quite responsive. Besides the rechargable battery, the best thing I like about this remote, is that it WORKS. One minor issue with my remote from my Dish DVR, pushed the HELP button, pointed the Dish remote at the bottom of the Harmony, pushed the button and the Dish remote settings were immediately transferered to the Harmony. I would recommend this Harmony remote to anyone wanting the convienience of one remote.

Excellent Remote, but low battery life
I got one of these after owning a Harmony 300. The LED menus make this one an awesome remote, and it's VERY easy to use and set up. Just plug in the USB cable (which doubles as a charger) and plug in the model numbers for your devices. The only complaint that I have is the low battery life. I find myself charging the remote about once per week, which takes several hours, and you can't use the remote while charging.

Awesome device!
I had purchased one of the refurbished 650's before. I liked the 650 but it was a little bit slow on responding. The 700 was much better. The configuration was pretty easy for me, but I'm a tech guy. It might be a little more difficult for someone not tech savy. You have to use your laptop and install a program. In the past the universal remotes would loose their programming which really sucked. This device has most devices in its database. If its not in the database the back of the remote has a ir input port where you can make the controller learn ANY function at all. It's awesome. Definitely worth the money! I would recommend.

Good but not Greatly impressed
My first experience with it was not good. The volume button did not function. Returned for a replacement. The Programmable buttons has no backlight. Hard to press the right one in a dark room. Lastly, it has a weak signal, it often fail to work if not operated within 10ft of the device that you want to operate

EXCELLENT PRODUCT AT A REASONABLE PRICE
Outstanding universal remote. Able to program all components for our television and sound system and put away all those other remote controls. Easy operation-durable. The rechargeable feature is great!
