Manufacturers sometimes offer discounts when large quantities of products are purchased without fancy, colorful, retail packaging. We take advantage of these opportunities to bring you the same quality, retail product at a lower price. Retail packaging is designed to look good on a store shelf and attract your attention. It frequently includes more paper, plastic and cardboard than needed. OEM packaging is not as visually attractive but is far more economical and because OEM packaging uses less paper, plastic, ink and cardboard it creates less waste and is better for the environment. Although OEM packaged product ships in a plain white or brown box you can be assured it is the same quality product as the retail packaged version. Buying OEM packaged products saves you money and helps save the planet…GO GREEN AND SAVE GREEN. Included accessories, software, documentation, and manufacturer warranties on OEM products may vary from retail versions. Please review our detailed specifications and photo gallery for included accessories and see below for warranty information.

I have purchased 4 of these great printers, given one to all of the kids and have a spare. I have printed over 400 CD/s and DVD's on the first one before having to change the ink. Just make sure that you get your blank media from Tiger, they have great deals on the white ink jet DVD's.

I was so tired of printing out DVD labels and applying them, now I don't have to!
The only problem I've had was with the clear plastic guide on the CD/DVD holder, it got bent backwards. I removed it and everything still prints great.

Definately a great printer for your money!!!! the fact that it's not only photo but CD's too makes this unit an exceptional buy!!!! Just KEEP AWAY FROM THAT AMAZON INK!!!!! It's known for damaging print heads and the manufacturer will not cover it if it is not ink approved by them..

I've run a couple hundred DVDs and CDs through this printer since I got it in January '05 and it's amazing how it's held up. The quality is very good and I've done nothing more than normal printer maintenance. This is a GREAT printer!

Its unbelievable what you get for the price!
I do professional video & photography work and never intended to use this cheap printer in my business, but it does beautiful CD & DVD printing and even super portrait photo printing (8x10's to 4x6 & wallet).
I'm sure it wasn't made to handle the quantities we sometimes put through it, but so far (three months) no problems.
Do buy your ink online. I get mine from Rima.com
