New life into gaming
This laptop runs extremely fast. I installed a 250 gb ssd and it is just incredible. I can max the graphics on all my favorite games with no drop in fps. It has bred new life into my games.

Excellent gaming laptop!
There is no one feature I am not happy with, I love the fact that there is a subwoofer on the bottom and that really improves sound. I am not sure whether the battery lasts for a very long time or not since I have it plugged in most of the time because I do hardcore gaming and graphics edition all the time. Don't expect the battery to last 2 hours thought since it is a gaming laptop. Excellent display, really bright when you need it. The keyboard setup is somewhat difficult to adapt to, but not impossible. The designs really stands up and catches a lot of eyes. The republic of gamers logo at the back of the monitor lights up white and looks really cool in the dark. The keyboard is also lit white.

Great laptop
This is a great powerful laptop and that look nice too. This laptop doesn't get hot and the sound is awesome. I like that there's 4 USB3 ports there and Display port because I am looking in the future to buy a high resolution monitor. I couldn't clone the HDD to an SSD. the laptop keep giving an error in the boot. I did this processes before in my lenovo desktop and it was easy. So, why Asus make it difficult for this laptop ?

Republic of Gamers 2.4ghz
First let me say that the laptop is awesome. Rock solid and it can replace a desktop. Next let me caution you. The cpu is not a 3.4Ghz processor. It is able to go that fast but only in an overclocked state. So it is really a 2.4Ghz processor. (Per Intel datasheet on the cpu) You can get speeds up to 3.4Ghz. Knowing that keep in mind this is a fourth gen I7 so it consumes less power and has more ops per cycle so it is faster than the same laptop running a 3rd gen I7 at 2.4ghz. However when overclocked you will churn through the battery so remember to plug in.
