reliable
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OSS
Fairly quick, easy to use and stable. Choose this over 8 not because 8 is really that bad but its simply been optimized for a touch screen to the point where it falls flat on its face for a mouse and keyboard. I'll try it if the price of touch screens gets reasonable. Until then windows 7 is the name of the game.

Better than 8 thats for sure
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OSS
Coming from XP build, 7 is much easier to work with than 8 by a long, long margin. Its a shame that they've stopped producing copies of seven in order to force people into going to 8 or switching to a non-windows system. Figured I'd grab this extra copy of seven while it was still available as I'm planning another build in a few months and definately refuse to use 8.

After installing (very quickly) the system has run without a hiccup. So far I am very pleased with the performance and reliability. I know at some point something is likely to glitch, but to this point, I am very well pleased.

OK, but need to improve installation
Total Defense Premium Internet Security
The software runs okay, but installation process needs work. I got errors and had to follow instructions to install correctly. I don't see why they can't build the corrections and whatever is necessary into the installation process to get it done!

Not good enough yet.
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OSS Bundle
I was very pleased to see that the WIN7 Ultimate version would still run my old Office apps fine. Also that Win7 has got rid of a lot of the boot-up overhead. But when will I NOT have to also purchase third party software to protect the OS from Malware? Google OS is fully protected by Google, cudo's Google.

Website was unresponsive. It took two phone calls. Reps were good, but overall avoid this product. The product itself may be adequate, but not worth the trouble.
