With this 480 GB drive my computer goes like a rocket. It allows all my hardware to work better my video card comes to life. Now that 8core processor goes better and even memory scores have improved all I need is a small 700W power supply. My power supply is not powerful enough.

Excellant for lenovo laptop boot drive
Used acronis true image from HDD to external SSD, then swaped them, with huge speed improvement. Now HDD is the external storage for videos and personal data files. SSD is internal boot drive. Fantastic sturdy product that never needs defrag.

Dead SSD
I had to reboot the computer continuously to get the BIOS to see the the drive. Eventually, it just stopped seeing the drive all together. This all happened within a few days after receiving the drive. I won't buy another Seagate SSD again.

Best Solid State Drive!
I have several SSD on various PC's and it seems that the Seagate drive is the fastest. My Win7 Pro x64 boots in just under 13 seconds. The deal from Tiger Direct was excellent!

Installed in MacMini
This brought new life to a 2009 MacMini. Even though the Mini is only SATA II, still better than traditional drive. I have NOT enabled TRIM and have not noticed any degradation. I highly recommend Mac users do your research before deciding to enable TRIM. Some of the so called solutions out there actual enable TRIM by REPLACING Apple's device driver with a much older version from Lion or Snow Leopard. After 2 months of heavy use, I see no drop in benchmarks with TRIM disabled. My system is only SATA II, so MAYBE that is why it's not an issue, I can't say for a SATA III system if not having TRIM enabled really makes a difference. But IMO replacing device drivers with one from 4 operating system versions past is not a 'solution'.
