Great signal
This replaces a Netgear USB wifi adapter that died and typically gave only 2-3 bars of inconsistent service, usually dropping the signal once a day. This TP-Link was easy set-up, fast connection, full 5 bars. Yes, a mini-disc is a pain when your drive is mounted sideways but tilting the PC box wasn't such a big deal. Very pleasantly surprised.

Bad Instructions, Great WiFi
This came with a very small CD-ROM disk. My computer is vertical. Result: I needed about 15 or 20 minutes to pull out my computer (the entire tower) to lay it flat on its side, so that the small CD-ROMette would make the trip without falling out of the slot. After I got that far, I found that the printed instructions did not match the behavior of the installation software on my screen, keyboard, and mouse. I felt like I was taking a test for an IT position to see if I could figure out software incompatibility issues (and then fix them, on the spot). I must say, however, that after I solved the mysteries, this thing is the defining product of good WiFi in the year I bought it, and probably for several years after that.

Better Than I Expected
I owned a regular USB wireless adapter before I purchased this one. The signal strength on the old one was usually average to below average. However, for this one, the signal strength is almost always excellent. So, in short, I'm very pleased with my purchase and have no complaints.
