I LOVE IT
This is my second Tom Tom and it's even better than the first. Like the bigger screen. Just used it for a trip to DC and it performed flawlessly. Live traffic was excellent. Routed me around a traffic tieup to save 6 minutes. So far, I love everything about this unit.

Great GPS - especially for the price!
This purchase makes us a 3 GPS family - 1 Garmin and now 2 TomToms. While the Garmin is good, the TomToms are better - more features, more information, faster updates. The 1535TM packs a lot into a nice, compact package. BT, GSM (Live Services), FM traffic reports, re-routing based on traffic incidents, voice command, etc. About the only thing I don't like is that the mount is built into the unit whereas our other TomTom has a separate mount with a magnetic holder. The builtin mount works fine with the twist knob to lock it to the glass but its awkward taking the whole thing when leaving the car (maybe its more secure though). All-in-all, a great device.

Great Value
This is my second TomTom product. Map update went fine. Had to call Customer Service to activate the Lifetime Map & Traffic. Other than that the unit works great.

Excellent value
Bought this unit as other manufacturers unit I had needed firmware redone at higher cost than this Tom Tom. Bougth extended warranty for 2 years. This Tom Tom comes with maps of Mexico loaded in it, that was an extra $50.00 in my other GPS. It already is a better unit in many other ways such as having all maps for Canada USA and Mexico. The test will come this winter when we drive to Mexico. One thing I miss is the elevation feature on my other unit.

Good replacement for the one I dropped
This is my second Tomtom. It fits my needs very well. The only thing I don't like is the length of time it tales to update.

Great for the price
I had been looking for a unit with blue tooth as well as live traffic updates. This fit the bill for less than I expected to pay. I have had other Tom Tom gps units and this one is easy to use and reliable.

Pleased with 1535 Purchase
Purchased the refurbished 1535 before going on a few long road trips. Love the free map updates and live traffic reports. Had no problems with suction cup giving out and GPS falling (yet) as some have reported elsewhere. It found the GPS satellites quickly. Arrival time was very accurate. Overall a nice unit and glad I made the purchase. Only complaints are that Go Live trial expires in only 30 days, the screen washes out badly in daylight, it can be difficult to update the unit online, and the speed limits are often wrong on the GPS in cities. But for the price, I'm pleased with the unit. A side note -- it doesn't like the heat much. It shut off on me once when the dash got warm, even though it was not especially hot outside or inside the vehicle.

Great replacement from the one I lost in the woods
So far so good. Better than I expected for a refurb GPS. A lot of features that I will probably ever need. Lifetime MAP, traffic and bluetooth works. Connects to my phone and sync my contacts upon power up.

Great GPS TomTom is the best.
Only one down problem: it's the voice recognition, it is very bad for an expensive model like this! But I enjoy the rest of the features.
