The right router at the right price!
This router was the easiest I have ever set up. All the instructions are clear, and the diagrams accurate. The Linksys E2500 speeds are great!

Value
I'm connected to a cable modem, and I had to copy my computer's mac address on the E2500. A quick call to my isp solved that, and the comprehensive cisco interface provided that option. The router prioritizes streaming content, which is nice for a college house that subsists on netflix and youtube. Love the sleek, not front-lit design of the cisco routers.

Was defective right out of the box
Product never work as soon as I hook it up had no link with my cable router. Had to pay for shipping to return router which cost half of the original price.

Bad Router
Did not work for me very long. It kept shutting off and dropped my connection a lot. I do not like Cisco Routers. This is my 4th Cisco Router and I am never buying another one again. They all over heat because of there current design. No air can get on the underside to keep it cool. Poor design. Good luck to the rest of you.

Works fine
The product was delivered as it was estimated. The installation was very easy. I just followed the unstruction and setup the router within 15 minutes. The signal is very good even though the router is located in the first floor. So far I am satisfied with the product.

Excellant Product BUT
This product requires Cisco Connect to setup the first time. It also wants connction to the internet. And it wants to do it all through a wireless connection. Any other way and the setup fails. Anyone with any experience with routers know that you never setup a router through a wireless connection. It can crash from one of your settings and you then have to direct connect anyway. I prefer to bypass all that automated setup and do it myself. Therefore I gave it a 3 for performance. Other than that, it appears to be a very good product. I like it very much. However, I bought it with the intent of turning it into a $500-$1000 router with new high feature set of firmware. So all these features mean nothing to me, but the built in features are excellant for the casual user.

very good router
I got this router 2 month ago. Usage: 4 PC, 3 smart phones, and 2 tablet. So far, I haven't rebooted even once. Speed and signal all good throughout 2 story house. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent product
Doubled my speed and distance. Could not tell it was refurbished as it looks brand new. Customer service was a bit subpar when I called with questions.

Amazed
I was having serious issues with my wireless network. Previously I had been running a professional grade system. So I pulled the entire professional system out and put in the E2500 plus an Amped Wireless SR10000. I was shocked at the increase in performance and range. It was like night and day and a lot less expensive. There were issue setting up at the start but was able to fix once I reset the unit. If you purchase the refurbished unit you will want to reset it then upgrade firmware before doing install.
