Very Solid
This is the stepup form the their entry level business line. Lot of 8 was purchased for new project and has performed as promised. Recommended!

Wireless connectivity horrible
This computer had terrible wireless download speeds(.01 Mbps-.25 Mbps) right out of the box. It only worked when the ethernet cable was connected directly to the cable modem. After many e-mails with HP, I finally used a chat session to try to resolve the issue. After several hours back and forth with chat, they finally concluded that I needed to send the computer back to HP. So, now I have no computer. I don't know how long it will take. A really big hassle.

non upgrdable CPU
They are using the 3110m i3 that is a BGA chip welded to the board.so you can never upgrade it to i5 or i7 like the other 4530s models.

ProBook 4540
Works good. Is quick to startup and handles multiple operations well. Fingerprint log on is great. No typing in passwords to log on.
