A resistive touchscreen panel is a technology composed of several layers, the layers that allow control of positioning are two thin, electrically conductive layers separated by a narrow gap. When your finger, presses down on a point on the panel's outer surface the two metallic layers come in contact at that point, and that location is sent to the device - to perform some action or move the cursor. Resistive touchscreens are reliable, but can only be used to control a single point at a time.
capacitive touchscreen panel consists of an insulator such as glass, coated with a transparent conductor such as indium tin oxide (ITO). Since the human body is also an electrical conductor, touching the surface of the screen results in a distortion of the screen's electrostatic field, measurable as a change in capacitance. Different technologies may be used to determine the location of the touch. The location is then sent to the device to be interpreted. Unlike a resistive touchscreen, capacitive requires contact with your finger - it is much more flexible and precise, but you can't use it with gloves, though you can use a capacitive stylus if the device supports them. Capacitive touchscreens also support multi-touch operations that let you perform more complex tasks with a single action.

Charging Cable does not work
The refurbished Nexus 7 came with a generic cable that does not work. I have a Nexus 7 that I bought brand new, the original Asus cable would charge the refurbished Nexus so I know that the generic cable is defective. I wanted to exchange the cable but it looks like I have to return the entire product.

Awesome gift
Girlfriend got this for me as a gift. I've been enjoying it ever since. Incredibly practical for my last bit of classes and now for my rotations. Compatibility make this thing wonderful. Only issues I've had with it include slight slow downs that can be especially noticeable when swyping large words and a minimum screen brightness that is too bright (personal pref); fixable by closing programs and probably by dling an app, respectively.

Love the Product
Like some have noted, this device meets all of my needs perfectly. Don't have to lug a laptop around anymore for trips or for simple uses such as book reading which is what I bought it for in the first place. Excellent battery life, screen resolution, storage space, and the fact the charging cable can be used for data is a plus.

Impressive
This Nexus 7 meets my minimal needs perfectly. Spending half the week away from home I needed a small mobile device larger than my phone to surf the internet and do some minor editing of my photos. Loving the battery life, screen resolution, Jellybean, cpu, bluetooth, storage space, and the fact the charging cable can be used for data also.

Great Choice
This refurbished N7 is every bit as good as a new one. Upgraded to 4.2.2 as soon as I put it in service. No flaws and works great. I am very happy with the N7 tablet.
