Anyone ever have one of these fail?
So I quite like th size an dshape of this little unit and the fact that it is a metal casing but has anyone ever had one of these fail on them before? I did. About a week ago I inserteded the device into my laptop and the device did not get recognised. I waited a few extra moments - nothing. Within 30 second teh metal casing had become so hot the it was uncomfortable to touch. I immediately withdrew it from the laptop and I could smell a slight burnt odor. The unit is finished. Needless to say that all data on the stick is gone. I have tried inserting it into other computers and all it does is heat up to an uncomfortable temperature. Dang.

DO NOT BUY
I've had three, they all became un-readable just shy of a month after I began using them. Will not let you reformat them either.

Slower than expected
Compared to the PNY Micro 64GB metal, the Kingston 64GB Data Traveler SE is really slow. The Kingston has a nice form factor in metal.

Amazing Drive
Been looking forever for a drive in a small form factor, but also extremely durable. This drive withstands the abuse of being on a full key ring all day while allowing access to all my important data and software. This drive is amazing for the abusive technology enthusiast!

Best form factor for flash drives
This drive has the best form factor of any of the drives I've had. It performs well too. I reccommend it.
