very satisfied
Huge capacity, very fast, good price, works perfectly. I bought a Toshiba brand disk because I've always been very satisfied with the quality of their products, and this unit lived up to my high expectations.

Poor website support
This is a great drive, unless you want to upgrade your system from a smaller drive. Most other drives I have purchased, I just go to the manufactures website and they offer a program to clone your old drive to your new one. If you only want this for storage or to install an new clean system on, then great, but if you want to upgrade easily, i think it might be better to go with a different brand.

Toshiba 2TB Internal Hard Disk Drive - 3.5'' SATA
Own 2 of these drives and they work relatively well. Use it with an external enclosure as backup drives and the performance is acceptable, though the transfer rate would be better with USB 3 instead of USB 2. It's relatively quiet and relatively spacious though, once formatted, it's about 1.8Gb. Wasn't sure about this brand's drives since I've never had it in years past but based on current usage, it's pretty good, but continued reliability is questionable for now. Hopefully the drives will last a few years without any problems. Prices for hard drives have started to drop esp. the 2Tb drives so it's a decent deal whenever the price drops below one hundred dollars.

Excellent bargain upgrade!
This drive is heavy-duty, sturdily built with some weight to it. It is relatively quite and fast. It works just fine in a SATA II hook-up which is nice if you have an older system. It is easy to install as well.
