This camera works OK if you don't plan to actually use it on the internet. But what good is an internet camera if you can't? It uses some sort of non-standard communication protocol that cannot pass through the public internet. It only works on the LAN. My experience with their technical support was consistent with the other reviews here - terrible. After about 8 hours of debugging with them on the phone and escalation through levels 1, 2, and 3, they gave me an RMA authorization. I hope I'll eventually get a refund but it could be weeks away and I have to pay shipping to send the camera back. Bottom line, don't buy this camera.

I cannot recommend the TV-IP100W. I received a non-responsive unit (= dud). 1st call to Trendnet tech support: ''...an available tech will call you back.'' Never called back. 2nd and 3rd call with an actual tech support person did not resolve the issue. Had me try the same things I had already tried. 4th call: ''someone will call you back''. Never did. So I got my RM # and sent it back. There go a few wasted hours.

The camera is adaquate. The resolution is no better than claimed. I am impressed with the wireless range of the camera. My big gripe is the documentation or lack of it. The instructions / manual that come with the camera are apparently written by a non English speaking writer. This took quite a bit of time and several calls to the tech support line to get set up. I still don't understand how to get around the Windows Firewall to view my image from a remote location. I've searched the internet, asked tech support and scoured the manual all to no avail.
