Good Unit - horrible Windows 8
First thing I did was wipe Win 8 off the hard drive & UPGRADED to Windows 7 with a fresh install.

This would be great without Win8
I've finally upgraded to this from an amazingly old computer and am so happy to be back to a laptop. This computer is fast and can handle anything I've thrown at it so far. I have to say, though, that the interface for Win8 is incredibly awful. I have been looking to move to Linux for many reasons but have put it off. No more! I'm happy with the laptop and look forward to my future as a Linux user.

Great Laptop
I bought this laptop to replace an old computer I 'd been using for the past few years. I'm a writer so I use the laptop for work, to browse the internet, and watch videos. It is relatively light compared to my other laptop and I enjoy the Windows 8 features. I would definitely recommend this product.

Good Computer
This was a birthday gift for my son. He is very satified with it. The computer performs well, has been reliable, and has a nice sized keyboard. I like the I-N Intel processors and this one seems fine too. Good price.

Good Bargain Lappy
As the headline says, it's a good bargain laptop. Pretty good stats for under $400. Not a fan of Windows 8, but that's not exactly Acer's fault so won't fault them for that. Battery life is good, performance is better than I would expect for out of the box. Size is great too, big enough to let you type with larger hands but not so big as to not fit into laptop bags. Overall I am very pleased with this laptop. I use it to play some games and to do programming.
