This router has four Gigabit LAN ports that faster than the standard 10/100 ports by up to ten times and one Gigabit WAN port. It supports IEEE 802.11n, g, IEEE 802.3, u, and ab standards and to keep your data secure it uses WPA2 and WPA security protocols. Wireless works as long laptop is in the same room
I replaced my older router with this model for more power. I still have to use the laptop in the same room as the router. If I try to use it downstairs, it disconnects from the router as soon as I start down the stairs with it. It did not solve my issues. Also my Smart TV doesn't connect due to network interference

Great deal
I bought this for my mom, she uses her iPad in the basement living room and it was hard for tem to get service. It was a little complicated for non tech savvy people to hook up but we figured it out and so far haven't had any problems.

Good price, average performance.
Good price, quick delivery. Seems to work no better (pehaps seven horter range!) than the one I replaced, - a very old Linksys WRT54G. Get only 1 or 2 lines of signal strength indication about 40 ft away in my raised ranch wood and sheetrock built house.

solid gigabit intranet
gigabit wan port makes modem output far more smoothly distributed amongst multiple device access. Wizard works fine for set up and capability to finetune lets the DIYer enhance further. Great buy at 25, still a good buy at a little more. Liked first so much I bought a second for a friend!
