Does what I need it to do
As a bedroom TV, this one was fine for me. Had bought the Sceptre TV of the same size during Cyber Monday this Christmas season. The Sceptre TV sound kept going out after the TV warmed up. The UpStar was the replacement TV. I've had no problems with it at all. Picture is fine on it. Sound could be better, but as a bedroom TV it isn't a deal breaker. Does all I need it for. Happy with it.

Surprised!!
I bought this for our kids to put into our bonus room. I wasn't expecting too much for the price since it wasn't going to be our main tv - boy was I wrong. For the money, it was a steal!! About the only thing I don't like is the sound, but that didn't matter because I was putting a sound bar with it anyway. I am contemplating buying another one to put in my bedroom now. To the guy below me who can't figure out his DirecTv remote - all you have to do is go online and ask the question - I had mine programmed in 5 minutes! There's a 4 or 5 digit code that will work.

O.K., But...
Picture quality is good. Sound quality is not great. UpStar does not have a code for the Direct T.V. remote. I would not have bought TV if I had known UpStar does not work with D.T.V. remotes.
