Good player and price
It plays everything I've put in it without issue. The price is good and I like that it does 3D since I'm hooked to a 3d screen. I wish they still included LightScribe.

Good Software
I have several of these LG BD burners and find them to be the best. Included is Power DVD 10 Suite with 3D viewing which is my favorite video viewer, although it will not play encrypted BD.

Does the job.
I am not a heavy user of Blu-ray or even of DVDs (for the moment) I got it because I needed a updated SATA DVD drive and this one works just fine . . easy install dependable service (so far).

1 out of 2 is bad
Bought two of these. One works well and the other is very problematic. The software and drive for the problem drive makes burning Blu-ray discs an exercise in frustation. So is trying to use LG's sites to obtain technical support. The lesson learned is that in the event that an LG product does not work as advertised, I'm out the money.

Nice drive at a nice price.
Easy to install, I just replaced a existing DVD Burner with no need for extra hardware. I run Windows 8 and had a few hiccups installing the software that came with the drive, got mad and purchased my own aftermarket software and it works great. I really believe the hiccups were related to LogMeIn which I had installed at the time. Overall a purchase I had been meaning to make, and very happy that I did. I would recommend this drive to a friend.

Blu-Ray Burner
I wouldn't say this is the best out there, but for a budget, this is a very good buy. Does what it is intended to do. The only negative I have about it, is that the software included does not meet my expectations, but you can get other software that does. I would recommend it as a purchase.

Ok Bluray drive
Good price for blu-ray burner. Drive failed after watching 5 movies. LG quickly sent refurb as warrantee replacement. Speed is average
