awesome
first time builder bought everything piece by piece and was able to connect all components and start up run through bios very easily already trying oc and good think it does it pretty much for me i think i may stay with msi for next builds i do

it needs help
Works fine but the bios as easy as it is to work with neds a little more help some of the features hang the computer so I just wont ust them Overclocking works like a breeze with the software Other than the issues with bios this is a fine board

Worked without any problem and great for price
Had no problem replacing old M.B. with newer board and CPU after killing old machine. Everything work on powerup, and last month of use. Only thing I wish is it had had more PCI-e X16 slots!

3 boards DOA
I bought this as a Christmas gift, and it was dead on arrival. I've had 2 replacements from MSI, and none have worked. 35 builds, and this is the 1st and last MSI product I will buy, as this is the 1st time I've had a problem. It won't read RAM, and it won't load past BIOS. Buy at your own risk. Get a Gigabyte or ASUS. You'll be happier.

Questionable use of USB 3.0 technology
Very good board which is easy to use and install with options. However, I do question why they opted to place only 2 USB 3.0 ports on it since the technology is moving in that direction anyway and the ports are backwards compatible. This is my only gripe with the board. I combined it with a 256 GB SSD card, 16GB of RAM, a 2 GB video card and an AMD FX-6100 X6 3300Mhz AM3+ processor and without tweaking it at all, it cold boots in 30 seconds and is incredibly fast to the point of almost being instantaneous when accessing applications.
