Great tool

It does a great job of cooling the CPU but I really would love to have some better control over it. The ability to change fan speed through some control panel or UI. But for the price I haven't seen any thing better. But the fact that I haven't had to modify a thing to get it to set it up makes it the best unit at this price!

Works Good but plastic is plastic

Mounted the fan and heat exchanger first with no problems. When mounting to the CPU it can be difficult to determine the amount of torque necessary for a good interface. Four screws are used for attaching to the back plate of the CPU but they seemed difficult to screw in properly like there was to much paint on the threads. It's possible I stripped one but I left it alone because it was tight enough to do its job. The nuts on the back plate used for screw attachment from the CPU interface are held still from rotation by the plastic that surrounds them. I was able to torque until the plastic could not hold anymore and the nut just started rotating, free from the burden of staying still. It was tight enough to do it's job so I left it alone. I'd image most plastic CPU liquid coolers have a similar problem but I don't know. I got this on-sale and at a good price so I'm happy with the purchase, I just won't remove it from my tower. :)
